Hornbeam Ivy Limited is a successful British manufacturing company of high quality crafted taps and fittings for the bathroom and kitchen. We are delighted to report that, as part of its 21st Anniversary celebrations, the company has committed to helping New Futures Nepal both with its Kalimpong project and also with Project Clean Water
Having provided twenty year’s worth of clean water through its taps to homes in the western world, Hornbeam Ivy planned, with us, to provide ongoing sanitation and clean water to our new home in Kalimpong and also to a local community school. This required the excavation of several bore holes and fitting of communal taps to enable clean running water to be brought to the community.
2009 saw this project completed and was greatly appreciated by the community.

From a company that started 21 years ago with an investment of only £11,000; to find ourselves now in a position to help in a small way the disadvantaged community in the foothills of the Himalayas, makes me very proud. The company’s continued success, along with the support of its growing workforce, allows us to take part in this project with pride.
